False Media Coverage on Iran Mandatory Hijab Law

Hi everyone, Several Portuguese media outlets falsely reported today that Iran has abolished its mandatory hijab law, claiming the country has dropped the mandatory hijab law. Such an embarassment... https://www.publico.pt/2025/05/25/mundo/noticia/conselho-seguranca-irao-suspende-lei-obrigatoriedade-usar-hijab-2134285 https://www.lusa.pt/article/45036746/conselho-de-seguran%C3%A7a-do-ir%C3%A3o-suspende-lei-de-obrigatoriedade-de-usar-hijab https://zap.aeiou.pt/irao-suspende-lei-que-obriga-as-mulheres-a-usar-hijab-680205

The Regime would never abolish mandatory hijab laws. There was an argument in the Parliament this week but it’s all smoke and mirrors. There was also a demonstration inside Iran in support of Palestine where some women attended without hijab, but that’s also the government controlling the narrative, trying to show the world that even women who are against the hijab, would stand in solidarity with hijabis and in support of the Palestinian cause.
