I am absolutely devastated that Salwan has been murdered by Islamists. May his death not be in vain.

I think a part of him knew he would be murdered at some point, but he saw the cause as bigger than himself. I sometimes feel so desperate that if I didn't have dependents I would do something drastic to get people's attention. Though, I am not sure risking my life is worth it- but if things continue down the trajectory they are- maybe it is for my children and their children
