But in terms of the bigger picture of what's going on in the US (and the world) via Trump, Musk and other sociopathic and dangerous people in the present Administration, I think it's important to connect dots to cults, cult leaders and expose some of their shared belief systems, as well as to follow the money flow. I don't want to go too far off tangent, but - long story short - when I got divorced from an abusive man in the late 1990s, I thought my crazy custody battle was unique to a bad family court judge. It wasn't. Within a couple of years I found myself involved with a group of grassroots activists (started by the ex wife of a US Congressman) calling themselves the National Alliance For Family Court Justice. I became NAFCJ's California director, and - as crazy as it sounds - found all kinds of connections between cults (e.g. Ordo Templi Orientis - OTO), narcissists and abusers in cross affiliated "fathers rights" organizations, religious "family" and "children's rights" organizations (especially Christian) and court and government officials, Republican and Democratic, and more. Yasmine, I know you and a lot of the folks here are concerned with the connections between "left" and "woke" individuals and groups with Islamists and terror cults like Hamas. But it's a huge mistake to overlook Trump's rise to power and attempt to establish the US as a Christian nationalist oligarchy.
