It is very rare to hear the voices of girls and women living under Islamic theocracies. They are silenced out of fear, out of threat of imprisonment, persecution, or death. For the very first time in this podcast we will speak to a woman who is not yet free. Sarah currently lives in Pakistan. She is forced to wear niqab in her daily life, so she is not in danger sharing her face in this interview. Few people know what she even looks like. She will share with us what her everyday life is like for her and millions of others whose voices are silenced. Join us to bear witness so that you will stand with us in shedding light and pushing back against the ignorant statements of ‘they choose that life’ ‘it’s their culture’.
